A delicious celebration of local food and drink
September - October
TIDE AND TURF-PORTAVOGIE * LOCAL FOOD AND DRINK MARKETS * FOODIE EXPERIENCES
Tide and Turf - Portavogie - FREE EVENT
What a fantastic day in Portavogie on Saturday 11 September, as we celebrated wonderful local produce and enjoyed lots of foodie fun.
With our Tide and Turf Kitchens hosting chefs from across the borough as they used delicious peninsula produce to create stunning Tide and Turf dishes, we were also delighted to welcome Suzie Lee, winner of BBC's Best Home Cook 2020 was cooking up a storm and shared some cookery hints and tips with the visitors to Portavogie harbour.
There were demonstrations from Great British Menu competitors as well as South Eastern Regional College chefs with their take on the Tide and Turf theme, transforming seasonal ingredients and fresh local produce into delicious dishes.
Now you can try some of these dishes for yourselves with the recipes cooked at the event.

Tickets and Seating
We are thrilled to bring you this programme of experiences celebrating all that is best about food in Ards and North Down.
To allow for the experience to be as best as possible for all, under current restrictions, the following is necessary with regards to ticket sales.
We are operating a bubble system. You will be able to buy a bubble that will hold up to a maximum of four people. Unfortunately, we cannot change the size of the bubbles and the price per bubble is fixed. For example, if you are a party of three, you can book a bubble of four people at the set price and either ask a friend/friends to be part of your bubble or have a lower number in the bubble.
Bubble locations will be allocated by the venue you are attending. If you book more than one bubble (for example on behalf of someone else), please be advised that your separate bubbles may not be located together.
When booking a bubble, you must include all individuals in your bubble, it is not possible to book additional tickets to add to your bubble or bring more people than you have booked a bubble for.
Due to social distancing and safety requirements, you must stay in your bubble for the duration of the experience. You must not move between bubbles.
Please note, no alternatives are available. Allergens may be present. Menus for the Taste Ards and North Down food programme are seasonal and subject to change without advance notice. For information, contact the host venue for the specific foodie experience that you are interested in.
