PORTAFERRY GALA FESTIVAL CELEBRATES ITS 58th YEAR WITH A FRESH NEW VIBE!

One of Northern Ireland’s longest-running community festivals, the Portaferry Gala Festival is back for its 58th year, bringing a packed week of fun, laughter, tradition, and entertainment from Saturday 19th to Friday 25th July 2025!

This year, the festival welcomes new faces to the committee and volunteer team, bringing fresh energy, new events, and an updated festival vibe—while keeping all the classic favourites the community loves.

🌟 Brand New for 2025:

🎯 DARTS MADNESS – A fast, funny, and totally unique darts night filled with comedy, crowd games, local legends, and an electric atmosphere.
🎤 BINGO LOCO GOES COUNTRY – It’s bingo, but not as you know it! With music, dancing, wild prizes and a toe-tapping country twist, this night guarantees craic and chaos in all the best ways.

🎉 Festival Highlights Include:

🎈 Party in the Park (Open Day): Live music, food outlets, kids' fun, and the colourful COLOUR RUN

🛶 Paper Boat Race – A local favourite!

🗺️ Car Treasure Hunt

🌼 Gardening Competition

👶 Bonny Baby, Cute Kiddies & Star of Co. Down Competitions

🎤 Kids Talent Show followed by a fabulous performance from Lady Portia at Portico

🎪 Annual Market Fair, community stalls, and local food producers

🐐 Introducing: The CULCHIE BASH – A Farming Fun Day!
