About

Manse on the Beach is a large beach house where guests can enjoy a luxurious stay in a very relaxing environment. It is situated on the sea front in the tranquil village of Cloughey just 45 minutes drive from Belfast at the tip of the Ards Peninsula, where guests can enjoy the lowlands region which can boast numerous beaches, quaint villages and two national trust country estates.

Guests can enjoy a luxurious stay in a very chilled environment. Originally built in the 1920s , this very spacious house has recently been restored, retaining much of its original charm with fresh, classic spacious bedrooms, garden room and recently attached louvred pergola which allows guests to enjoy the outside all year round. The large range of spacious ensuite bedrooms offer views of the sea, mature gardens or the walled courtyard. Communal areas are designed for comfort and allow private time or a chance to meet other guests. The garden room is very comfortable inside / outside space merging into the large mature walled garden. Relax in a hammock, fat boy comfy chair or hanging bucket chairs in the grounds sheltered from the onshore breeze.

We have a Spa with a sauna and jacuzzi which can be hired by the hour and you can also a holistic treatment for during your stay.
We also offer bikes, kayaks and paddle boards which allow guests to stay active during their stay.

The House is strictly non-smoking. Smoking facilities are available in the back courtyard.
We offer two rooms which are dog friendly. Dogs must be kept under control and are welcome at the property (maximum 2) as long as they sleep in the ground floor bedrooms and guests ensure the place is left as they find it.
