Discover the charm and coastal heritage of Donaghadee this dog‑friendly walking tour.

Stroll through one of Northern Ireland’s most picturesque seaside towns as your guide shares fascinating stories about its coastal past, local characters, and historic landmarks.

After the tour, relax at Pier 36’s renowned beer garden with a refreshing locally crafted Copeland Gin cocktail. Your pup will be spoiled too, with a paw‑some goody bag waiting for them.

Why not turn your visit into a full day out? Stay for lunch, savour local seafood, and enjoy the warm hospitality Donaghadee is famous for.

Things to note

No concessions.

Strictly one dog per purchased ticket.

Under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult and also purchase a full price ticket.

Please dress for warmth and comfort as dictated by the weather.

Tour covers uneven ground.

Please wear appropriate footwear. 

The tour is approximately one hours walk around the city centre, with regular stops which would require a low level of fitness.

All dogs must remain on lead for the duration of the tour.

Tour allows for one dog per ticket. Ratio - 1 human:1 dog.

Please bring water for your dog, and poop bags.

Tickets close 24 hrs before.


Getting there
By Car: From Belfast follow A2 to Donaghadee Rd/High Bangor Rd/B21 in Bangor.  At Donaghadee Rd Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Donaghadee Rd/High Bangor Rd/B21.  Follow the signs towards Donaghadee.  Follow A48 to The Parade.
