About

This event is organised by No. 14 at The Georgian House, Comber

Don't miss this once-a-year gastronomic spectacular!

James Mulholland, head chef and owner of No14 The Georgian House in the heart of historic Comber invites you to a special showcase dinner in his beautiful walled garden. This three-course al fresco dinner is held in honour of the humble, but very special Comber Earlies Potato, as part of the annual Comber Earlies Festival.

In case you didn't know, Comber Earlies potatoes have enjoyed Protected Geographical Indication status since 2012, as a recognition of their unique taste and flavour thanks to the micro-climate in which they’re grown in the rich soil of the Ards Peninsula and Comber areas. They share this status with products such as feta, camembert and champagne.

This is a unique one-off special dining experience featuring the finest local produce curated by Jim and his team especially for the event. The main ingredients in each dish served are sourced within 20 miles of Comber. This experience will demonstrate why this fine restaurant is winning a plethora of awards in recent years.

Relax with a drink in the gorgeous leafy confines of the walled garden to the rear of No14 on the eve of the festival event as you listen to music from jazz and swing singer Jason Maguire. Then between James's delectable courses you will hear four contrasting local food stories behind the ingredients Jim has used within the set menu including local farmers Richard Orr of Willian Orr and Sons and Robbie Neill of Stonebridge Farm who is UK Pig Farmer of the Year.

Over 18's only. Call 028 9131 1106 to book your tickets.
