Join us during the late May Bank Holiday Weekend and discover stories and legends about the place we call home.

Your local fully-trained walking tour guide will introduce you to aspects of our Borough you never knew before.

Whether your preference is Street Art or a Mindfulness Pilgrimage; a walk with pirates and mermaids or a unique after-hours visit to the famed Bangor walled Garden, this unique Guided Walking Tour Festival is made for you.

Bangor's Wee Pilgrimage
Saturday 23rd May | 10:30am – 12 noon | £12
Join Rebecca on this reflective walk from Walled Garden to Bangor Abbey, guided by bells, sculptures and ancient rhythms.

Street Art Walking Tour Bangor

Saunter Back In Time at Bangor Walled Garden

Spend an evening with John in Castle Park and Bangor Walled Garden learning the history of the Castle, Gardens and Ward family.

A walk round Orlock & Portavo: Pirates, Mermaids....and Dexter Cows!
Sunday May 24 | 2pm – 4pm (ish!) | £47
Join local tour guide Gavin Walker to discover the charms, history and myths of Portavo and Orlock on this 60-minute walking tour around North Down’s most beautiful coastline – and enjoy a cool drink, a Ballyboley Dexter burger cooked over charcoal a sweet treat, and an introduction to Dexter Cows!
