About
This event is organised by No. 14 at The Georgian House, Comber
A two-day mini symposium in the heart of Comber exploring the world of ‘slow food’ at a local scale through tastings, live demos, discussions and debates with special guest chefs and producers who are rethinking our food system through their innovative businesses.
Take the time to explore the world of ‘Slow Food’ which can be described as the preservation of traditional food cultures and practices that counteract the rise of fast food and a fast life, and celebrate the chefs and makers who are reconnecting consumers with where our food comes from. Read more about Slow Food.
Demos and discussions will be led by Slow Food champions Sally Barnes, Anthony O’Toole, Paula McIntyre, and host chef and proprietor, No14’s very own Jim Mulholland.
