    Join a selection of Fine Food, Artisan Crafts and Award-Winning Makers as they feature in Chef Jim Mulholland's Summer Garden Fayre this June.

      Come down to McBrides for a night of Stand Up Comedy to kick start Taste Summer in Ards and North Down Comber Earlies Food Festival. Ronan Linskey will be your host with a string of Stand Up Comedians to entertain you.
      1. Free Event - Comber Earlies Food Festival
        This is a FREE event - no ticket required. The event is focused around food and drink with stalls featuring local artisan producers, an artisan bar offering the best of local distilleries and breweries, celebrity chef demonstrations showcasing the famous Comber Earlies potato as well as Brass bands, children's entertainment and a vintage tractor display.
      2. Comber Earlies Food Festival Afternoon Tea
        Enjoy a potato themed afternoon tea take away box prepared by South Eastern Regional College (SERC) chefs. Sit back and enjoy your afternoon tea box in a reserved seated area by the food demo kitchen, located in the main event area, the new location of Comber Leisure Centre car park.

      1. Comber Earlies Recipes
        Comber Earlies potatoes have enjoyed Protected Geographical Indication status since 2012. A recognition of their unique taste and flavour thanks to the micro-climate in which they’re grown in the rich soil of the Ards Peninsula and Comber areas. There are many ways to cook these famous potatoes, here is some inspiration to try at home...
      2. Sketrick Island and Strangford Lough
