Everyone welcome. A flat gentle walk suitable for all who want to
socialise and get moving.

Battle of the Somme Commemoration
Organised by Local Orange Lodges
Starting Point – Orange Hall, Manor St at 7.30pm and 8pm at Cenotaph.
The parade will proceed via Manor Street, High Street, Moat Street, East
Street and Shore Street.

Women on Water (WoW-We)
Organised by Donaghadee Sailing Club
Wednesdays up to and including 28th August
6.30pm
WoW-We encourages ladies to enjoy water related activities safely.
Sailing dinghies and ribs will be available every session and
paddleboarding or snorkelling on request. Wetsuits and buoyancy aids
can be provided. We are a mixed ability group, from total beginner to

Anyone interested in trying tennis come along for free. Taster Sessions
will last for 30 minutes and we ask that anyone under 18 must be
accompanied by a parent/guardian. Wimbledon style refreshments will
be available and there will be prizes for those best dressed in Wimbledon
colours.

Upper Ards District LOL 11 Annual Divine Service
Organised by Local Orange Lodges
Donaghadee will play host to the Lodges of Upper Ards District Orange
Lodge No. 11 for their Annual Divine Service.
Lodges from around the Ards peninsula will take part, leaving Manor
Street Orange Hall at 2.30pm for 3pm Service in Shore Street
Presbyterian Church.

Most Thursday’s from 17th July to 28th August (check detailed
programme for exclusions)
Time: 10am
Learn about the rich history of this town from 1600 to present day.
Tours start at harbour entrance and last about 2½ hours on fairly flat
ground and will end with a visit to the Sir Samuel Kelly Lifeboat. Tours
are free, just turn up.

Starting from the Harbour
The event starts from the Harbour and the route takes the runners along
the commons and around the lighthouse. Proceeds from the event will
go to The Barn Animal Rescue

Teddy Bears Picnic

Join us for some teddy bear themed fun, with movement, songs, stories

learning about the wide variety of marine life we have in and around our
beaches and rock pools.

Copeland Challenge
Organised by Donaghadee Coastal Rowing Club
Launch 11am; start 12noon
This is approximately a 10 km row leaving from Donaghadee Harbour ,
crossing The Sound and circumnavigating Copeland Isle in clockwise
fashion keeping Mew and Lighthouse Islands to port side, avoiding
Ram Harry tidal race at easterly end of the Big Isle, then heading back
to Donaghadee, with finish line at the mouth of harbour
