Aspects Festival is proud to be part of the Southbank Centre's A Poet In Every Port project.
Home to the National Poetry Library, the Southbank Centre is one of the UK's leading arts venues and a champion of poetry and spoken word. As part of this anniversary, it is taking a travelling selection of the world's largest public collection of modern poetry to 11 coastal locations in the UK, offering events, workshops and readings.
Join us for a full day of creative activity in Ward Park and beyond as the mobile National Poetry Library touches down in Bangor as part of the Poet in Every Port initiative.
Bangor will be buzzing with activities around the Library, Ward Park and Seacourt Print Workshop as poetry related activities will be on offer for free!
These will include a poetry treasure hunt, creating your own poems, performing on the mini stage...and more!
Join us for a lunchtime open mic between 1 and 2pm.
