About

Groomsport village is a delightful spot, with quaint village shops, cafes and popular eateries.

The seafront area has picnic benches for those who wish to do that, with a view of the pretty harbour and Cockle Row Cottages, and the nearby beach makes for a great day out at the seaside.

Set within the picturesque Groomsport Harbour, Cockle Row Cottages are the perfect place to spend an afternoon. Open seasonally in the summer, the cottages are worth a visit. Step back in time and discover how a fisherman and his family lived at the turn of the last century in these lovingly restored cottages. The cottages are also home to a seasonal Visitor Information Centre and shop.

Find out more about the cottages and the free family entertainment on offer during the open season.
