The Marina is situated on the south shore of Belfast Lough, close to the Irish Sea cruising routes and has become well known since it opened for providing a safe berth in the centre of Bangor, a highly attractive town with many places to visit.
Multiple winner of the Blue Flag Award and a world-class 5 Gold Anchor Marina. Facilities for 550 berths with safe berthing for 50 visiting craft. Laundry, showers, trolleys and local advise provided for sailors.
Bangor Marina is operated by Quay Marinas. The Marina Manager and his friendly team are there to make your stay at Bangor Marina as enjoyable and safe as possible so please speak to a member of staff if you need any help. The Marina is staffed 24 hours a day so there will always be someone on hand to provide any further information.
The seafront promenade hugs the marina and forms part of the North Down Coastal Path. Stroll past Pickie Funpark onwards as far as your heart desires all the way to the end at Holywood - gateway to Ards and North Down near Belfast. Should you take the other direction on the path from the marina, you could find yourself in the lovely seaside village of Groomsport. Please note sections of the coastal path cross private roads and lanes. Please pay attention for traffic and be respectful to land owners.
