About

The cottage is located on a street of stone cottages on the edge of a small historic village which is shared with the beautiful 12th century Cistercian Abbey and the pretty St Saviours Church. It is only a short walk into the village which has a small convenience store, award-winning butchers, a nice coffee shop and a range of vintage/antique and gift shops perfect for a peruse. The cottage is within easy walking distance of the abbey, local park, convenience store, boutique shops and restaurants. The fabulous wedding venue, Orange Tree House, is less than 10 minutes walk.

The cottage benefits from a good-sized living room with a wood-burning stove, two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with a single bed and a pull out trundle guest bed (200cm X 80cm). The bathroom has a bath and powerful shower. The lovely hand-painted country kitchen has a dining table which seats four.

The cottage offers all the modern conveniences you need for a comfortable stay - TV and video, wifi, washing machine/dryer, fridge with freezer box, fan oven and induction hob and dishwasher. An iron, ironing board, clothes horse and hairdryer are all provided. Bed linen and towels are included in addition to a number of essential and helpful provisions with our compliments e.g. toilet roll, paper towels, tea/coffee, salt/pepper, cleaning materials, bin bags, foil/cling film etc so you don't need to shop for these items....just relax and enjoy your stay!

To the rear and side of the cottage there is a garden with a dining table and chairs with lovely views over the Abbey.

There is on-street parking on the opposite side of the street or you can park in the church car park beside the Abbey which is just across the street from the cottages.
