1 of a group of 7 cottages that can accommodate parties of up to 34 people.

Elm Cottage is approached by its own pebbled driveway leading to car parking and patio area adjacent to the cottage. Elm Cottage is the largest cottage on the complex with accommodation for 7 people in 3 bedrooms. One bedroom with a double and single, also an ensuite bathroom, one bedroom with a double bed, and one bedroom with two singles. There is an additional separate bathroom. Both bathrooms are equipped with bath and shower. Downstairs is very spacious with separate hall and large luxuriously furnished lounge featuring an inglenook brick fireplace with wood burning stove. The kitchen/dining area has all the features of a country farmhouse kitchen with stone floor, range and large pine table where the whole family can dine together. Modern conveniences have not been forgotten, a dishwasher, large fridge and freezer have all been built into the traditional kitchen by a local craftsman using maple and old red brick. Satellite TV/video, radio/CD player and mobile phone are all provided.
Free Wi Fi is provided.

We have recently opened five farm trails at Barnwell Cottages.Their route over our farmland takes you by our Bird hide,Badger hide and viewing platform, from this location you can see many parts of mainland Scotland,and the Isle of Man.

***** We have recently stocked OUR OWN PRIVATE LAKE at Barnwell,so guests can now go fishing.******

In 2015 Barnwell Farm Cottages were awarded a Gold Award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
