About

Ballydorn Lodge is a three bedroom home with spectacular views overlooking the beautiful Whiterock Bay in Strangford Lough within a few minutes walk of Daft Eddys Restaurant and Little Eddys Cafe, Sleeping up to 8 in a super king ensuite, one double and one room with two singles that pull out into double beds. It has a family bathroom It . The kitchen is open plan with high end applicances including a Rangemaster Oven and Smeg Fridge/Freezer.

The main Living room has large picture windows so you can enjoy the view no matter what the weather. The mature garden has plenty of space for the kids to play including an outdoor fort. There is also an additional Shepherds Hut which sleeps a family of four in a king bed, bunks, kitchenette and bathroom that is available to rent separately or as a group of 12. The bottom of the driveway offers immediate access to the Lough.

There are countless activities in the area to enjoy from watersports to walking and we are located within half an hour of Belfast City Centre to enjoy all that it offers - cinemas, museums and indoor activities for the family such as the W5 Science Museum, We are Vertigo, Clip n Climb, Bowling etc. The Mourne Mountains are 45 minutes drive south with numerous forest parks and further activities. Road Directions

Ballydorn Lodge is located within 25 minutes of Belfast City Airport and the ports of Belfast, 50 minutes of Belfast International Airport and 2 hours from Dublin. There is plenty of parking for at least four cars when you arrive at Ballydorn Road.

If you are arriving from Belfast follow directions to Comber then take the A22 Killinchy Road through Lisbane to Balloo - turn left just after Balloo House onto Beechvale Road this turns into Whiterock Road - follow all the way till you reach the sharp left corner right on the bay - follow the road round the bay past the SLYC , leaving the small bay car park on your left the next driveway entrance on your left is us!

If you are arriving from Dublin come off M1 at exit 6 follow signs to  Saintfield then carry on straight through Saintfield onto Todd’s Hill  Turn left on station road Right on Carrickmannon Road Turn left onto Kilcarn Road Turn Right onto Killyleagh Road and almost immediately  turn left onto Beechvale road follow road down to the bay and a sharp left - follow the road round the bay past the SLYC, past the small bay car park on your left the next driveway entrance on your left is us!
