Taste Donaghadee Food and Drink Tour

Starting at Grace Neill's Bar, 33 High Street, Donaghadee, County Down, BT21 0AH
A group enjoying a food tour in Donaghadee

About

This is a food tour with a difference.  Taste Donaghadee celebrates all that is divine about this beacon of great taste which also has a gloriously rich history to explore.

With character-packed restaurants, artisan coffee houses, and traditional high street shops, there's lots on offer for the venturous foodie. The local butcher who has been in situ for 100 years, the local bakery is famous for their range of traybakes and cream slices, whilst the local sweet shop is still packed with glass jars of childhood favourites and a secret family recipe ice-cream. Take in the dramatic setting provided by the historic harbour and lighthouse which extends to the small screen as this is the film set of hit BBC drama 'Hope Street'.

This tour will allow you to visit and taste the full 360 degrees of Donaghadee’s contemporary offering with just a little traditional seaside nostalgia served up on the side.   Tasting stops on this tour take in the 400-year-old Grace Neill’s,  an introductory peek around the award-winning Copeland Distillery;  the scenic harbour views from Harbour & Co, and the delicious café culture vibes of Bridewell Coffee Shop.
