Immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings of Strangford Lough on board the St Brendan, celebrating the Summer Solstice. Cruise between the islands and inlets of this area of outstanding beauty while being entertained by stories of pagan folklore and enjoy traditional Irish music by Clanreagh, as you celebrate midsummer, on this the longest day of the year!

No concessions.

Under 18 years must pay for a ticket and be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. Minimum age 4 years old

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the boat trip.

The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Getting there
By Car:  
Belfast follow the A20 to Newtownards.  Follow the A20 along Kempe Stones Road to Newtownards.  At the roundabout take the 3rd exit along Blair Mayne Road South.  Take exits towards the Portaferry Road. Continue along the Portaferry Road for approx.20miles following the road signs towards Portaferry.  Continue through Portaferry Town, turn right onto Shore Road. The harbour is located on the Shore Rd, Portaferry, Newtownards BT22 1JZ. Parking available at the Rope Walk car park near Exploris Aquarium.

By Bus: See Translink NI website for bus departure and arrival times.

By car or foot via the Strangford Ferry that services between Strangford and Portaferry.
