Strawberry Picking: Experience the joy of handpicking luscious strawberries at Flavour First, just outside Donaghadee. A family-friendly event that brings people together to savour the sweetness of summer.
Please note: Pick Your Own fruit is dependent on crop availability and will be on days when crop is available throughout the summer months.

Session Times: Session times will be on a booking by booking basis. View slots here.
Dates: Select mornings throughout the strawberry season – often released at short notice
Booking: Sessions must be pre-booked to secure your spot
Cost: It is £5 to book your slot. Strawberries picked are charged £8.50 per kg on the day
Our “Pick Your Own Strawberries” sessions offer a relaxed and enjoyable morning activity for all ages. You can arrive at any time during the 45 minute period, making it easy to fit into your schedule. Whether you’re a seasoned berry picker or a first-timer, our friendly farm staff will be on hand to guide you and ensure you have a fantastic experience.
How It Works:
Pre-book your session to reserve your spot.
Arrive at the farm anytime within your selected slot time on your chosen date. Don’t forget to leave enough time to pick your strawberries before the end of the session!
Bring your own containers for the strawberries, which we will pre-weigh upon arrival, or we can provide containers for you.
Pick to your heart’s content and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Weigh and pay for your strawberries at £8.50 per kg before you leave.
Flavour First accept card and cash payments for strawberries on the day.
There’s nothing quite like the taste of a freshly picked strawberry, still warm from the sun. This is a wonderful activity for families, couples, and anyone who loves fresh, local produce. Plus, it’s a great way to support sustainable farming and learn more about where your food comes from.
