Join us for a BBQ like no other as part of a weekend of activity celebrating all things chilli related at Bangor Castle Walled Garden. Enjoy the very best of local food with friends and family at this open-air dining experience and enjoy live music from Alex Da Costa.

There will be two BBQ options available, a choice of meat cooked by Jasper Castel and provided by Hellbent, and a vegetarian option from Nina Cristinacce of Lightfoot Kitchen.

Cordial from Papa’s Minerals Company will be provided. 

 

Menus

Salads and Side for all

Roast squash, sweetcorn, kidney bean, feta, lime, chilli and coriander dressing Elote - grilled mexican street corn with chilli, garlic, cheese and crema Potato salad, pickled jalapeños, chives, lime and crispy onions 

Meat Option, provided by Hellbent
Locally produced grilled beef burger, dressed with salad leaves, tomato and a pickle, on a toasted potato bun.
South African beef Chakala spiced sausage and chilli themed condiments.

Vegetarian option, provided by Lightfoot Kitchen
Crispy oyster mushroom tacos, chargrilled pineapple and tequila salsa, guacamole,crema, romaine

Please note: All food on the evening will have a chilli theme. Picnic tables and rugs will be provided. This is an outdoor event, please dress for the weather.

Food allergies, intolerances, and dietary requirements | Please ensure that you check with all members of your party regarding food allergies, intolerances, and dietary requirements prior to booking tickets. It is the responsibility of the ticketholder to inform a suppliers about food allergies, intolerances and specific dietary requirements.  This must be done at least 1 week before the experience (by Saturday 2 September), but preferably at the time of booking.

The menu provided by Lightfoot Kitchen is Vegetarian.  If you require a vegan alternative, you must email Lightfoot at the time of booking, cristinaccenina@gmail.com.

Under 18’s may attend and must purchase a ticket. There are no concessions. Anyone under 18 should be accompanied by at least one paying adult.
