About

Welcome to the Ava Gallery – a hidden gem of visual arts in the North Down community. Located in the elegant surroundings of Clandeboye Estate Courtyard, we are open to the public and principally show important Irish art, from the 18th century through to the modern day.

Our exhibitions range from high profile specialist events, where we have drawn exclusively from private collections and feature iconic Irish artwork, to commercial solo and group shows by talented contemporary Irish artists & sculptors.

Run by Adam’s Fine Art Auctioneers, whose Northern Ireland office is located at the gallery, we also hold auction preview exhibitions, showcasing the very best Irish art currently available on the open market.

Regular exhibitors include Jack B Yeats, Paul Henry, William Orpen, Gerard Dillon, Mainie Jellett, William Scott F.E. McWilliam, Martin Mooney & Mark O’Neill among others.
