About

BeHere: Desire Paths to Belonging is a community-led co-produced exhibition exploring whether, and how, heritage sites can enhance a sense of belonging.

Groups from The Link Family and Community Centre and Kilcooley Women's Centre used creativity to explore their connection to the Mount Stewart estate run by the National Trust.

The groups have created pieces of textile, ceramics and glass which have been inspired by their exploration of the mansion house and gardens. and these gorgeous pieces will be on display along with interpretation panels which talk about the project itself.

This exhibition is part of the 'BeHere: belonging, heritage and ecology' project delivered in partnership by Queen's University Belfast, National Trust, ArtsEkta, The Link Family and Community Centre and Kilcooley Women's Centre and was funded by AHRC Creative Communities programme.
