Aspects Festival 2026

About

Aspects Festival returns to Bangor with a vibrant programme of author talks, poetry events, workshops, performances and exhibitions.

This year's festival welcomes acclaimed writers including John Banville, Jan Carson and David Park, alongside an exciting mix of poets, authors and performers from near and far. The programme also features A Poet in Every Port, a major Southbank Centre initiative celebrating poetry, creativity and local voices, with events including readings from the New Poets Collective.

Whether you're a lifelong reader, aspiring writer or simply curious to discover something new, Aspects Festival offers opportunities to be inspired, entertained and engaged.

Aspects Festival runs from 23 September to 4 October at various locations around Bangor.

Tickets range from free to charged, depending on the activity. See the Aspects website for their What's On programme for more info.
