Ards Peninsula Kite Festival – A family fun filled day.  See the colourful display kites filling the sky.  Create your very own kite in our workshop.  Food and craft stalls, music and family entertainment including Sand Sculpture and bouncy castle, plan to spend the afternoon in this glorious setting!

Refreshments can be purchased on site and there will be stall holders selling crafts, etc.  

Children should be accompanied by an adult.

Ards Peninsula Kite Festival is a family fun event, organised by Ards Peninsula Villages Partnership.  Funding has been provided by Ards and North Down Bough Council and Dept for Communities.  

Event Information

Access to the site is free, there will be a charge for most of the activities.  


There is extensive free public car parking in Millisle at Ballywalter Rd (300 spaces) and Moss Rd (92 spaces).  


In the incidence of inclement weather and high winds the event will be cancelled.
