Comber Farmers' Market is getting ready to pamper Mum at the monthly food market on Thursday 3 March 2016. Traders will be selling beautifully packaged food gifts or why not surprise your mother and cook Sunday lunch with food from the market? You can also treat your Mum to tea or coffee and a delicious home made scone or slice of cake in the church hall. With March being dedicated as the month of Heritage and Traditions as part of the NI Year of Food and Drink programme, heritage products such as soda breads, wheaten farls, grass fed beef, free range eggs, dry cure bacon, soup vegetables, rapeseed oils, cheeses, chutneys, scones, traybakes and jams along with our very own humble Comber potatoes will all be on sale. In addition, there will be a free prize draw to win lovely gifts for Mum which have been kindly donated by Comber businesses. These include vouchers for meals, flowers, beauty treatments, hair dos, brooches and chocolates. We look forward to welcoming all Mums at the market on Thursday 3 March!
