Fun interactive play for little ones with a Halloween twist
Cockle Row has a great programme for little ones - big ones too - but little ones particularly! The summer programme is a great mix of crafts, music, show and tell animal roadshows not to mention magic shows, nature workshops and so much more that spurs their imaginations.
After a busy summer season the first weekend in September sees the close of the summer programme however for one day only Cockle reopens its doors for Halloween.
Come along on Sunday 28 October where the whole family can get involved - there will be themed creepy crafts, Plant and Play will be hosting a nature workshop, Tales of the wild animal roadshow will be showing and telling about the animals they will be bringing along and Geordies music box will be providing traditional live music.
All the activities are FREE! Cockle Row Cottage itself is an interesting place, housing a small museum and visitor information centre with shop - see how fishermen lived in the 1700's, listen to local tales from our expect advisors and take in the hospitality of the local village.
