About
Discover autumn species and how to identify them in this slow-paced walk around the grounds of the Ulster Folk Museum. A great way to get outdoors over the Halloween mid-term on a fun family day out.
You'll be joined by experts from the Centre for Environmental Data and Recording (CEDaR) who will teach you the skills to record these species. This vital work plays an important role in tackling the biodiversity crisis and understanding the impacts of climate change. It also supports the tracking of species trends and helps locate endangered species.
This Wildlife Walk will leave you with new knowledge of your local wildlife, a guide to biological recording booklet, a kids wildlife spotters guide and a branded magnifying glass card to help you continue your journey in species spotting and biological recording!
