Join Ballyboley Dexters for a magical day of outdoor exploration and creativity at this fun-filled family event. Set against the backdrop of their beautiful farm and The Copeland Islands, this event promises excitement and learning for everyone.

Embark on a short farm walk where you'll discover the vital role that bees, butterflies, moths, and other pollinators play in the farm ecosystem. The team will share fascinating insights into their importance, making this an educational experience for both kids and adults alike. On the walk you will get the opportunity to meet Dexter Cows and learn how important they are in managing and conserving the biodiversity and local environment.

But the adventure doesn't stop there! Meet "Mrs. Maker," our imaginative friend who will guide the kids through the process of designing and crafting their very own set of wings. From vibrant colours to intricate patterns, let their creativity soar as they bring their winged masterpiece to life.

Once their wings are ready, it's time to take flight! They can flutter, buzz, and float around our enchanting pastures as they test drive their newly crafted wings. Whether they're soaring like a butterfly or zipping like a bee, this hands-on activity is sure to spark joy and wonder in every child.

The BBQ will be fired up to let adults enjoy a delicious Ballyboley Dexter burger and cool drink whilst the youngs ones are getting crafty. A kids hotdog and drink can be added to round off the afternoon.

So grab your wellies and get ready for a day of outdoor fun, discovery, and imagination at "Wellies and Wings" – where adventure awaits around every corner!
