About

'The Way Between' is a lunchtime recital featuring singer and pianist Lisa Dawson's new original songs, inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of Northern Ireland.

From the sweeping Mourne Mountains to the legend of the Giant's Causeway, each piece captures the spirit and emotions that rise from these iconic places. The music will take you on a spiritual journey through the land which has inspired generations of poets, bards and saints.

Blending classical and traditional music styles the songs are influenced by traditional Irish music, interweaving Gaelic and Ulster-Scots languages, Lisa creates peaceful, atmospheric music that is reminiscent of artists like Enya and Loreena McKennitt.

This event is part of Leid AND Lairn, a celebration of Ulster-Scots language and heritage in Ards and North Down.
