About
NEW for 2025, Taster Tours will run from July - October, find out more
Dates: Tuesday 5 August or Thursday 14 August, Time: 10.30am
Ticket £4pp* | Meeting Point: Café Kiosk in Walled Garden | Duration of tour: 45m
Step through time in Bangor's Walled Garden with Martha-Ann, where monks once walked and legends linger. A fountain spirals with stainless steel fish, uniting sea and land in a flaxseed bloom of Irish linen. Gaze upon the "Curved Horn" statue—its secrets whisper: bell, serpent, mermaid, Viking ship. The old bandstand returns, reborn and rooted. Four gardens bloom with life, history speaks through Bangor Castle, and South Africa's strelitzia bursts in vivid colour. This is not just a tour—it's a tale.
