Spring Equinox Family We-Treat

2B Castle Square, Bangor, Bangor, Down, BT20 4SR
Spring Family We Treat, Sunday 24th March 2 - 5pm The Haven and Castle Square Bangor

About

Welcome to our first family we-treat (mini retreat) of the year.

Our family events are designed to bring the benefits of a retreat to the whole family, with yoga, crafts, mindfulness and more.

On our spring equinox in March, we will celebrate the spring and equal hours of dark and light by doing some fun spring themed yoga. We will look at growth in nature, sun salutations as the sun returns to full strength, also the lifecycle of frogs and butterflies, through yoga.

We will have a short refreshment walk before going on a guided walk through the daffodils at Castle Park, we will have some mindful moments in nature and maybe practice some yoga poses or balancing on logs, before returning to The Haven.

We will do some spring crafts to take home and have time in the sensory room before we finish.
Suitable for families, please note some walking (around 30/40 minutes) is involved, also the studio is on a first floor up one flight of stairs (no lift). Recommended age 3 plus.
Please dress comfortably and bring suitable outdoor gear for the walk part of the class. We will walk in rain or shine, the exception would be if there are any weather warnings.
Refreshments will be provided, please notify of any allergies or any other medical conditions.
No yoga experience is necessary.
