Saturday Craft Corner at The Old Market House Bangor

About

Due to popular demand, our Saturday Craft Corners have been extended, right through September, so pop into The Old Market House and Bangor Visitor Information Centre, each Saturday in September, to see a local artist at work, at our free 'Craft Corner' and perhaps even have a go, guided by our artists!

Saturday 6 September
10.30am – 12.30pm

Join Magda a local artist from Boom! Studios, Bangor who will encourage you to get your ‘craft on’ by decorating Bangor themed shapes for you to take home using paint pens, ribbons, googly eyes, etc! Suitable for young in age and young at heart!

Saturday 13 September Autumn Artisan Market
12noon - 5pm

Come along for a vibrant celebration of creativity and heritage at The Old Market House Bangor, organised by Gifted Enterprise as part of European Heritage Open Days 2025. This special event brings together talented local makers, artists and food producers for a day of discovery, shopping and storytelling in the heart of our historic town.

Saturday 20 September
10.30am – 12.30pm

Create a watercolour-embroidered spider web with Heather Cassidy of Wild & Crafted Creative Workshops. Relax, paint, stitch, and enjoy this mindful autumn-inspired drop-in workshop. No experience needed. Heather will also bring along a range of her work for you to enjoy.
