Pop into The Old Market House and Bangor Visitor Information Centre, each Saturday in August between 2.30pm – 4.30pm to see a local artists at work in our 'Craft Corner' and perhaps even have a go!

These talented artists will be working in print, watercolour, macrame, ceramics and pencil.

Where: The Old Market House, at the top of Main Street, Bangor (77 Main Street, Bangor, BT20 5AP)

When: Every Saturday in August 2.30pm – 4.30pm

🥀𝟵 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁- Join 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀 who will be demonstrating mono printing with dried plants and paper shapes, creating unique pieces that could be framed or used as greetings cards.

📖𝟭𝟲 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 - Create your own bookmarks with illustrator 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 using zentangle, pen and watercolour techniques. This is suitable for all ages and abilities.

🪡𝟮𝟯 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 - Join textile artist 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘆, who will take you through an easy macrame technique to make a knotted keyring for you to take home.

🍃𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 - 𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗺 will be demonstrating how she applies nature to ceramics, using forest plants, seashore pebbles and paint to enhance each piece and bring nature into them. Also, joining Ellen will be renowned artist 𝗟𝗲𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝘆𝗱 who will do a live drawing and talk through the process as he puts pencil to paper.


All sessions are free of charge and no booking is required, just pop in!
