Seacourt Print Workshop, Old Ulster Bank Building, Main Street, Bangor, County Down, BT20 5AF
Monoprinting with Plants

About

Part of Experience Ards and North Down 2024. Click here to see the full programme.

Join us at Seacourt Print Workshop for a summer evening of playful printing with plants, in the beautiful old bank building right in the centre of Bangor. Your host for the evening will be local Artist Penny Brewill.

On arrival, your inspiration will be a wide variety of plants and botanicals. You may choose the plants you wish to use, to
create your bespoke print. Using nature as your inspiration you will experiment with inking up plants and leaves, then printing them directly onto paper through our beautiful Rochat press. You will be able to take home a small edition of prints. Perfect presents for a loved one, or to adorn your own walls!

Things to note
Basic materials including inks and cartridge paper will be provided. Wear something you don’t mind getting inky, or bring an apron - however there are some here to borrow too. No open toed shoes please!
Over 18 yrs only.

Tickets close 2 days prior.
