About
From Victorian vintage to villainous vapes, the sea relinquishes an intriguing timeline of our play and work. Marine litter can be deliberately discarded, or lost at sea. Meanwhile, the natural ebb and flow of marine life and death continues to beach. It is only in recent years that we have begun to appreciate the impact of our detritus on the seas.
This exhibition by What the SeaSaw is intriguing and educational; providing clarity on some of our behaviours and simple changes we can all make to help protect marine life. To connect is indeed, to protect.
What the SeaSaw is beachcomber, beach-cleaner and incidental artist, Aileen McClenaghan. Aileen delivers environment classes and works part-time for Ulster Wildlife. She volunteers with CPWF UK (formerly Sea Shepherd) and with the RNLI.
Suitable and accessible for all ages. Sea you there!
