About

This year's Aspects Festival brings to you an exciting mix of events, from memoir to poetry, history to prose, all celebrating reading and writing. Whatever your interest, there are events that will challenge, teach and entertain.

Festival highlights include three fascinating memoirs from Judith Mok, Bill Whelan and Mary Peters who will all join us to discuss their books and take us on their journey. There is a Festival Club, Book Club and Poetry Slam along with music and workshops.

The Clandeboye Reading party is back exploring the theme of Childhood and Children's Culture. The Reading Party is a unique project bringing together a wonderful partnership between Clandeboye Estate, Queen's University Belfast, Trinity College Dublin and Aspects Festival.

The Festival will hold events all over Bangor, using beautiful and interesting spaces to celebrate writing from the Island of Ireland.

You can explore the full programme on the Aspects website.
