About

The Ards Peninsula Kite Festival is a truly unique experience for all.

The event itself will involve giant kite flying delivered by Kitecrew Ireland, as well as small kite flying with amateur kite flyers taking part. Other elements include:

- Kite design and making workshops;
- Sand-sculptor engaging families in creating sand sculptures on the sandy beach;
- Children's activities (bouncy castles, circus skills, roundabout, etc);
- Refreshments and craft stalls;
- Music and DJ

This event is Grant Aided by Ards and North Down Borough Council's Tourism Department.
