About

Tours and Tales offers all inclusive, fully escorted whiskey experiences in Northern Ireland and with our driver at the wheel and a guide to arrange all the details all you have to do is relax and enjoy the day out.

Our small group adult only tours visit some of Northern Ireland's most iconic distilleries, allowing our guests to hear, see and learn about the history of whiskey making in Ireland, and to taste and appreciate the result of hundreds of years of experience.

All of our experiences include a distillery tour, lunch and a curated whiskey tasting. We also offer water and snacks throughout the day, and a gift bag to take away to help remember your day. Even better, our tours include transport in our comfortable air-conditioned minibus, driven by our fully qualified driver, so you don't have to worry about driving and can sit back and enjoy a dram or few.

We have a choice of three itineraries. The first includes a visit to Bushmills, the world's oldest licensed distillery, which was granted a licence to distill in 1608. We also offer a visit to Titanic Distillers, which resides in what was the pump house of the dock where the ill-fated Titanic was built. Then we have our Whiskey Away Day, where the venue will be a surprise on the day.

We will also visit some truly legendary pubs and hotels, including the Harbourview Hotel in Carnlough, which has been voted the Best Place to Stay in Northern Ireland by the Times and Sunday Times, and also found fame as a location in the Netflix series How to Get to Heaven from Belfast. Another hotel is the Titanic Hotel, a must visit for anyone with an interest in the most famous ship in the world, and here you will enjoy lunch and a curated whiskey tasting in a private dining room which was once the office of Thomas Andrews the architect of the Titanic, or else Lord Pirrie's office, the chairman of Harland and Wolff when Titanic was built. We will also have on our itineraries historic pubs in Belfast and surrounding area.

We are also happy to design a bespoke tour for you and your group - just give us an outline of what you would like and let us devise the perfect day for you.
