About

The Copeland Distillery, situated on the Irish coastline of Donaghadee, officially opened its doors in September 2019 and invites you to come and experience distillery life on a guided gin tour.

Located directly opposite The Copeland Islands, in what was once an old picture-house, is where you will find The Copeland Distillery.

The Copeland Distillery is where the tales of old smugglers and savage ocean battles meet the shoreline of Donaghadee. It is here that Copeland produce their range of coastal inspired spirits that were born from the history and heritage of The Copeland Islands and the surrounding area.

Experience this history unfold on a Guided Gin Tour .

Learn about the history of The Copeland Islands and Donaghadee’s first distillery. Included is a neat gin tasting sample and sensory botanical experience, a distillery tour where you will learn about our unique process of our spirit making then finish in The Copeland Distillery Hideout, overlooking scenic views of The Copeland Islands, and enjoy a refreshing Copeland G&T.

Visits to the Copeland Distillery are only available through bookings. Booking through Eventbrite is essential before arrival.
We can also host private tours and corporate tours, just give us a call for more details.

Unfortunately due to the nature of our distillery and working operations we are unable to open to the public outside of tour times and private events. You can however visit our Distillery Shop and browse various merchandise and branded glassware.
