“Holywood May Day is a highlight of our events calendar, filled with tradition, fun and local pride, and it is especially meaningful to me as Holywood is my home town. We are delighted to welcome everyone back in 2026 for another free, family‑friendly celebration.
“The town will be buzzing with thousands expected to enjoy festivities centred around the iconic Maypole, the only remaining one in the country. It draws visitors from across the Borough and beyond, and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone enjoy this fantastic community festival.”
