Our Golfing History:
Golf here dates back over 125 years when The Royal Belfast became Ireland’s first Golf Club, established in 1881. Some of the country’s finest golfers emerged from our fairways and greens including Ryder Cup and Walker Cup players like Norman Drew, Garth McGimpsey MBE, David Feherty and of course our latest star Rory McIlroy.

Designed by names such as James Braid, H.S. Colt and Peter Alliss, each course is a hidden gem and unique, with stunning scenery including views of Belfast Lough, the Mourne Mountains, Strangford Lough and even Scotland!

Our courses are: Ardminnan, Bangor, Blackwood, Carnalea, Clandeboye, Donaghadee, Helen’s Bay, Holywood, Kirkistown, Scrabo, The Royal Belfast.

We are also home to Groomsport Golf Centre - a Driving Range with various activities and services including Footgolf.

Please contact the Visitor information centres (Bangor or Ards) for current offers, special deals and assistance with booking. For golf clubs please refer to specific club page for full terms and conditions, restriction on hours of play and tee time booking. Refer to club sites for green fees.
