Monday 16 March
Holywood Players - Absent Friends by Alan Ayckbourn

Discovering that he has had a bereavement, a group of friends invite Colin, an old acquaintance, round for tea one Saturday afternoon. But is it really Colin who needs to be comforted?

Tuesday 17 March 
Newpoint Players - The True Story of Mary K by Sean Treanor

In this new piece of writing a young Irish girl, forced into emigration, is exposed to the harsh industrial life of Pittsburgh. On returning to Ireland she is widowed and forced to fight for her financial and personal independence.

Wednesday 18 March 
The Clarence Players - Painting Churches by Tina Howe

In this loving and humorous portrait of a family an artist returns home to help her aging parents move house and while there they agree to let her paint them.

Thursday 19 March
Theatre 3 Newtownabbey - Agnes of God by John Pielmeier

A novice nun gives birth and insists that the child is the result of a virgin conception. A psychiatrist and the mother superior of the convent clash during the resulting investigation.

Friday 20 March
Rosemary Drama Group - These Shining Lives by Melanie Marnich

Based on the true story of four women who worked in a watch factory in  Illinois, this play dramatises the danger women faced in the workforce in the 1920s.

Saturday 21 March
Dundalk Theatre Workshop - Duet for One by Tom Kempinski

A famous concert violinist is stricken with a disease necessitating her retirement from the stage and threatening her marriage as well.
