White Cottage

3 Marino Station Road, Holywood, Co Down, BT18 0AH
Modern living room with wood burning stove

About

With wonderful sunsets from the decking area, perfect for a cocktail or two & a good sized garden for children and pets, the south facing garden really is a fabulous spot. There is a stunning kitchen leading onto a dining area with a couple of steps up to a huge sitting room with a sumptuously cosy wood burning stove. Upstairs there are three double bedrooms, one with en-suite bath/shower & a luxurious family bathroom with a large free standing bath and walk-in shower. There is also a cloakroom with a separate toilet downstairs.

Two minutes walk from my house, you can take a train to Sydenham within close proximity to George Best Belfast City Airport and the Titanic Quarter, also Belfast City Centre with its easy and frequent connections to Belfast International Airport & the stunning Antrim coast. Here you will find the Giant’s Causeway, a World Heritage Site & the world famous golf course, Royal Portrush, host to the 148th Open in 2019.

Just one stop in the other direction is the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, where you can spend a day or two exploring & be taken back in time.

With my business head on (owner of a Catering & Events Company) and when Covid 19 restrictions have eased, I am more than happy to arrange small gatherings at the house. Might it be drinks and canapés on the balcony enjoying the fantastic sunsets, a private dinner party or a chilled-out BBQ in the garden enjoying the fire pit, you can sit back and relax, knowing that your event is being managed by me, allowing you to enjoy your evening and your guests without the added hassle of ensuring that your guests glasses are topped up ??.

I do hope that you have a lovely stay at White Cottage and any feedback you wish to make would be greatly appreciated. There is a guest/visitor book at the house should you choose to write about your stay. If you are happy with your stay/experience, the best form of advertising is by word of mouth, so please feel free to spread the word.
