About

Hilltop Lodge is situated at the top of the Holywood Hills, three miles from Holywood and Dundonald, and six miles from Belfast, Bangor and Newtownards. It is a detached, level access, single story property.

The open plan living/kitchen area has the kitchen, including a washing machine with dryer, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer at one end and comfortable sofas and wood burning stove at the other. The dining table and chairs are in between. Relax and enjoy the flat screen TV/DVD and the BT wireless internet. There are two bedrooms, one with a king size (five foot) bed, and the other a double bed. Two fold up guest beds and a cot and highchair are also available. The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath and a heated towel rail. There is a heat recovery heating system. A garden and driveway with parking to the front and a barbecue/sitting area at the back. Enjoy the eggs from our friendly chickens, turkeys and ducks and watch our three dwarf pigs through the fence.

Situated at the top of Whinney Hill (off the A2 Belfast to Bangor Road) experience the stunning views over the Scottish coastline in this, away from it all, but very central location. Welcome pack includes fresh eggs, homemade wheaten bread and a can of draught Guinness.

Hilltop Lodge is an eco friendly, unique experience. Solar panels heat the water, with electric immersion heater as back up. And the modern heat recovery system, using the sun and wood burning stove, with electric radiators as back up, makes for a comfortable cosy home all year round. I am happy to light the stove and add fuel during the day.

Pets Welcome.
Additional services by request; baby sitting, dog care, provision of evening meal, luggage storage.
Available from single night to three month stays. Weekly rate- £400 to £450 (fuel and electricity included).
