Weave a Willow Tension Tray in the Walled Garden

About

If you'd love to impress your guests by serving homemade scones on your own handwoven willow tray... or perhaps channel your inner Hyacinth Bucket with a beautiful charcuterie platter filled with artisan cheeses, cured meats, and seasonal fruits .. then this is the workshop for you!

Join us in the Walled Garden for a relaxed and creative Willow Weaving Workshop, where you'll craft your own bespoke willow tension tray or platter using homegrown, sustainable willow from our Saillie Garden

You'll spend the day with talented local willow artist Heather McDermott, who will guide you through all the traditional weaving techniques required.

This workshop is suitable for adults of all skill levels as no previous experience is needed, just manual dexterity and a love for crafting and nature.

Tickets: £85 per person, which includes:
All tuition and materials
Use of tools
Morning and afternoon tea — with homemade scones, of course!
A delicious seasonal lunch
And if we're lucky... a little extra sunshine!

Bring a friend and enjoy a creative and relaxed day in a beautiful heritage setting.
