Overlooking Strangford Lough on the Ards Peninsula, Grey Abbey House and its vast gardens, benefit from a temperate climate which supports a plethora of unusual flora and fauna, some of which have been collected by the present owners on their travels. An opportunity to explore these stunning gardens, not normally open to the public.


Things to note
No concessions.

Those aged under 18 yrs must be accompanied by a paying adult and also purchase a full price ticket.
Please wear suitable footwear for the garden tour, there is uneven ground and inclines.

This experience is part based outdoors, please dress for warmth and comfort as dictated by the weather.

Tickets close 24 hrs before activity.

Please ensure that you check with all members of your party regarding food allergies, intolerances, and dietary requirements prior to booking tickets.
It is the responsibility of the ticketholder to inform a member of staff at the host venue about food allergies, intolerances and specific dietary requirements.

Getting there

By Car: from Belfast follow the A20 to Newtownards. Follow the A20 along Kempe Stones Road to Newtownards. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit along Blair Mayne Road South. Continue to follow the A20 onto the Portaferry Road. Follow the signs towards Main St Greyabbey. Destination on the left. Greyabbey House is located at BT22 2QA.

By Bus:  See Translink NI website for bus departure and arrival times.
