New for 2026, a quiet hour will be introduced from 11am–12 noon each day, welcoming people with a disability, neurodiverse conditions, carers and parents/guardians.
This hour offers a calmer environment with reduced noise and gentler activity levels. This new feature aims to make the event more inclusive and comfortable for those who prefer a slower pace. To support this, capacity during Quiet Hour will be reduced and entry will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
We kindly ask attendees to consider whether this session is the right fit for them, helping to preserve a calm experience for those who need it most.
After this quiet hour, the event will officially open at 12 noon with a fun-filled programme running through to 6pm
During Quiet Hour:
· All stalls will remain open
· Punch and Judy Show
· The funfair will be open, operating without music
· Roller Disco will operate with reduced lighting and quieter music (pre-booking required)
· On the Water – Quiet Hour Sessions (Pre-booking required)
Some activities during Quiet Hour are pre-bookable.
· Paddleboarding – Saturday and Sunday | £10pp | Ages 6+ | 11:00
· Kayaking – Saturday only | £10 single / £20 double | 5+ with adult, 10+ solo | 11:15
· Double Canoe – Sunday only | £20 | 5+ with adult | 11:15

A 45-minute double canoe taster session with skills, games and a short harbour tour. Please note: participants may share a rafted canoe with others.

· Arrive 15 minutes early to complete medical/consent forms and attend safety briefing
· Participants must be water confident
· Buoyancy aids provided; wetsuits available if required
· Wear swimwear under clothing; bring a towel and sun protection
· Not suitable for expectant mothers or those with back or neck problems

Equipment Boots will be supplied by the organiser. You can bring your own roller boots, if you wish.
Wristguards and helmets are available to hire free of charge at the skate hire desk. Wearing protective equipment will greatly reduce the chance of injury due to a fall / collision.
Children under the age of 16 shall be appropriately supervised at all times by a responsible adult, parent or guardian. We shall not accept responsibility for the safety of children who are not appropriately supervised.
You shall be responsible for making yourself and those under your supervision familiar with the health and safety rules and emergency procedures which are in place at the premises in which the activity is taking place.
Pre-Existing Medical Conditions We highly recommend that you do not take part in skating activity if you suffer from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, brittle bones, joint injuries or any other condition that could be aggravated by this activity.
If you are or suspect you are pregnant you should not take part in this activity.
Waiver Each participant must complete a waiver, prior to participating. (please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking time to complete a waiver to take part)

While Quiet Hour offers a calmer environment, the site becomes very busy and noisy once the main event opens and throughout the day. For this reason, we do not recommend bringing dogs. Trained assistance dogs are welcome.
If you do choose to attend with your dog, they must remain on a short lead at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and disposing of waste in the appropriate bins.
