Enjoy wonderful on the water activities at the Sea Bangor Festival, from pre-bookable 'Have a Go' sessions to viewing of on the water demonstrations, rowing competitions and boat trips, there is lots of fun to be had throughout the weekend.

Rowing Competition - Local Teams Compete
From 12noon both days
This year’s event sees the return of the popular rowing competition with local teams vying for the top prize. Organised by SERC.
E Foiling Demonstrations (20 minute demo)
Viewing along the Eisenhower Pier, both days: 12.40pm | 3.30pm | 5.30pm
E-Foiling uses an electric powered surfboard on a hydrofoil wing which lifts almost a metre out of the water. Come along and watch E-Foiling demos throughout the weekend.
Pre-booking required.
For all on the water activities sessions start at 12noon Saturday and Sunday| Meeting Point is Eisenhower Pier, beside the slipway at RNLI Station.
Participants must arrive 15 minutes before their activity.
Timeslots Saturday and Sunday | 12noon | 1pm | 2pm | 3.30pm | 4.30pm | 5.30pm
A 30-minute fast blast on a 9-seater Rigid Inflatable Boat. Each trip will last 30 minutes on board. Hold onto your hat, for a thrill ride you won’t forget. Prepare for a bit of splashing (or a lot if the weather is poor) and a lot of laughs!

Parents / Guardians / Participants will be required to sign a medical & consent form upon arrival. Please arrive 15mins before your session takes place to fill in form and receive safety briefing.
Participants must be water confident.
Safety Restrictions | This experience is NOT suitable for anyone with epilepsy, back or spine issues, anyone who is pregnant and anyone with any other known issues that might be affected by the impact of wave (Whole Body Vibration). Participants will be required to confirm to the provider that they are not affected by any of the above before boarding the boat. If you have a family history of osteoporosis or are unsure of whether your medical condition may place you at risk, please consult your physician before booking.

Enjoy a 45-minute taster session on double or single Sit on Top Kayaks. Skills, games and a short harbour tour.

Enjoy a 45-minute taster session on a rafted canoe. Rafted canoes are when you pair canoes together for a fun, social way to enjoy the water. A pair of canoes are joined together with a parallel bar across the centre making a catamaran style boat, giving the canoes greater stability.

Trip departs from Pickie Jetty, Beside Pickie Funpark | 11am – 12.30pm | 2.30pm – 4pm | £14pp
Join Brian Meharg, author of the children's book "Jenny Watts Legend" and skipper of the Ocean Crest, as he invites you aboard to hear the story of infamous smuggler, Jenny Watt while enjoying a cruise around beautiful Bangor Bay, off Belfast Lough.
