12th October 2026
Clandeboye Lodge launches third annual partnership with Action Mental Health, after raising £2,000 through last year's Give Yourself a Break campaign.
Clandeboye Lodge is encouraging guests to make time for their wellbeing while supporting vital mental health services this World Mental Health Day.
Returning for its third year, the hotel’s Give Yourself a Break campaign will see £10 donated to Action Mental Health for every eligible room-package stay booked directly through the Clandeboye Lodge website and completed between 10 October and 31 December 2026.

The campaign returns at a time when the importance of accessible mental health support remains clear. According to the latest Health Survey Northern Ireland, 38% of adults reported concerns about their mental health in 2024/25, up from 32% in 2022/23.
Action Mental Health’s services impact the lives of more than 25,000 people across Northern Ireland each year. Through counselling, recovery and employability services, school programmes and community outreach, the charity supports children, young people and adults across local communities.
Give Yourself a Break turns each qualifying stay into meaningful support for this work. Every £10 donated could help provide arts and crafts materials for a child’s play therapy session, with last year’s campaign generating a £2,000 donation for the charity.
Ian Smith, General Manager at Clandeboye Lodge, said:
“World Mental Health Day is an opportunity to pause, consider our own wellbeing and recognise the organisations providing professional support when it is needed.
“At Clandeboye Lodge, our tranquil woodland setting, warm hospitality and relaxed atmosphere offer guests a place to step away from the everyday and enjoy some well-earned time for themselves.
“Give Yourself a Break connects that experience with an opportunity to give back. We’re proud to bring the campaign back for a third year and continue supporting Action Mental Health’s important work across Northern Ireland.”
Nicola Reavey, Corporate Partnership Lead at Action Mental Health, said:
“Action Mental Health greatly appreciates the ongoing support of Clandeboye Lodge through its seasonal Give Yourself a Break campaign. The campaign not only raises awareness of our mental health services but also encourages people to recognise the importance of rest and a good night’s sleep for their mental wellbeing.
“Every business that highlights our work and every individual who supports us helps Action Mental Health positively impact the lives of 25,000 people across Northern Ireland each year. Together, this support makes a meaningful difference to people in local communities.”
Eligible stays include a selection of Clandeboye Lodge room packages, inviting guests to slow down and reconnect in the hotel’s tranquil woodland setting near Bangor. Selected breaks include dinner at renowned Coq & Bull brasserie and a freshly cooked breakfast.
