Ards and North Down Borough Council has launched its autumn tourism campaign, Absolutely Ards and North Down, inviting visitors to discover the people, places and stories that make the Borough a must-visit destination this season.

Targeted at visitors seeking authentic experiences, culture lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, Absolutely Ards and North Down celebrates the stunning coastlines, rich heritage, vibrant creative community and exceptional local flavours that can be found across the Borough, while highlighting the people who bring these experiences to life.
As part of the campaign, visitors can also enter a competition to win £300 towards an autumn stay in Ards and North Down, providing the perfect opportunity to experience everything the destination has to offer.
Mayor of Ards and North Down, Councillor Craig Blaney, said:
“We are delighted to launch our autumn tourism campaign, Absolutely Ards and North Down, showcasing everything that makes this area such a special place to visit at this time of year.
“At the heart of this campaign are the people who help shape our tourism offering every day. From local producers and artists to activity providers, gardeners and hospitality businesses, their passion, expertise and stories help create memorable experiences for everyone who visits.
“Through themes including Shoreline Escapes, Historic Discoveries, Creative Connections, Savour the Flavour, Memorable Moments, Stay a While and Travel with Care, we are celebrating the unique experiences available across the Borough and encouraging visitors to discover Ards and North Down for themselves.”
Rory Martin, Strangford Lough Activity Centre, added:
“We are fortunate to live and work in an area blessed with beautiful shorelines, rich history and a wealth of experiences for visitors to enjoy.
“Campaigns like this help showcase not only the stunning landscapes of Ards and North Down but also the people and stories behind them, encouraging more visitors to explore everything the area has to offer.”
Tracey Jeffery, Tracey’s Farmhouse Kitchen, said:
