Storytelling in tourism is a powerful tool that can significantly enhance the travel experience and foster a deeper connection between visitors and destinations. Local Ards and North Down borough providers are invited to join us at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel in Bangor on 14 October, 9.30am – 12.30pm for this free to attend event.
This year at our annual tourism industry day, guest speakers explain why storytelling is so valuable and how they have used it to promote their business and the wider destination. Discover what makes a good story and how best to tell it. Guest speakers will illustrate why storytelling is a powerful promotional tool through personal experience and examples.
We are delighted to have special guest Alice Mansergh, Tourism Ireland Chief Executive, joining us to provide valuable industry insights.
Guest speakers:
Eimear Callaghan - Tourism Northern Ireland
Cathy Law - National Museums NI
Liz Weir - Storyteller
Jamese McCloy - Glenshane Country Farm
There will also be an opportunity for networking with speakers and industry colleagues.
